## Route Logistics - Total Distance: 200 km - Format: Single-Loop Circuit - Terrain: Rhythmic regional rollers transitioning to flat agricultural plains - Surface: 100% Paved (scenic rural roads and regional shoulders) ## Women's only Ride: This 200km brevet is organized by the Randonneurs Ontario Endurance Cycling Club. It is a unique, women-only long-distance event designed to provide female riders with the rewarding connections, and community they may desire to engage more deeply in the sport of randonneuring. ## Supported: Controls at Paris and Wyndham Center will be staffed by volunteer club members, and refreshments will be provided to all registered riders, couresy of Randonneurs Ontario. ## About the ride Celebrate community, strength, and endurance on a beautiful journey through the heart of southwestern Ontario’s rolling countryside. Departing from Kitchener, this specially curated route guides the "randonneuses" of Ontario south along quiet secondary corridors framed by expansive farmland and rich rural heritage. As the peloton winds south, the route carries you into the picturesque community of Paris, Ontario. Here, you will pedal alongside local river corridors to a staffed club control point at Lion's Park, which offers a scenic resting spot equipped with public washrooms. Just beware that downtown Paris is under contruction, and the sidewalk may require a dismount. Leaving Paris, the terrain flattens out beautifully as you venture deeper into the sun-drenched agricultural heartland. The true crown jewel of this loop is a nostalgic pilgrimage to Windham Centre for a featured checkpoint stop at the old outdoor Win-del Velodrome. Serving as a spectacular monument to Ontario’s track cycling heritage, this historic track features a fully staffed control where club members will provide refreshments and a friendly cheering section to keep your spirits high.
