This Privacy Policy explains how Green's Opinion Enterprises Ltd. doing business as Epic Ride Weather ("Epic Ride Weather," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the Epic Ride Weather Events website at events.epicrideweather.com (the "Site").

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to third‑party websites or services that may be linked from the Site (for example, event registration platforms). Those third parties have their own privacy policies.

- Account information (optional): If you create an account, we collect the information you provide during signup and account management (for example, email address and any other fields you choose to provide).
- User Content: If you create or edit events, we collect the content you submit (for example, event names, descriptions, dates, links, and route/event details). User Content you publish may be visible to other users and the public, depending on how you configure your event.
B. Information collected automatically
We do not use analytics cookies for tracking or advertising. However, when you use the Site, we may automatically collect:
- Log and device data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and pages or features accessed.
- Security and performance data: information used to protect the Site (e.g., detecting abuse, spam, or automated traffic) and to diagnose reliability issues.
C. Cookies and similar technologies
- No analytics cookies: We do not set cookies for analytics or advertising.
- Strictly necessary cookies: If you log in, the Site may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to maintain your session, keep you authenticated, and support core security features (for example, CSRF protection).

A. Public disclosure by you
- Public events: If you publish an event, your User Content (and potentially your display name or profile identifier, if shown) may be visible to the public and may be indexed by search engines.
B. Service providers and infrastructure
We use service providers to host and operate the Site. For example:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) may process data as part of providing hosting, storage, and network delivery for the Site.
We share information with service providers only as needed for them to perform services for us, and subject to appropriate safeguards.
C. Weather and map data
- Weather data: The Site may display forecasts or weather information provided by Apple Weather. When you request weather content, your device may indirectly trigger requests that depend on this provider's services.
- Maps: Map tiles and related map content are served by Epic Ride Weather (our own map provider).
D. Legal, safety, and business transfers
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, legal process, or lawful government requests;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Epic Ride Weather, our users, or the public;
- Investigate and enforce our Terms of Use, or address fraud or security issues.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Site and for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- maintaining account access;
- preserving published event pages until removed;
- complying with legal obligations;
- resolving disputes; and
- enforcing our agreements.
Backups may retain copies for a limited period after deletion.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
A. Account and content controls
- You may edit or delete certain account information through the Site (if those controls are available).
- You may edit or delete events you created through the Site, subject to any limitations of the feature.
B. Access, correction, deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting legal@epicrideweather.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, security logs).
C. Cookies

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Epic Ride Weather is based in British Columbia, Canada. Our service providers (including GCP) may process data in other jurisdictions depending on configuration and network delivery. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed outside your province, state, or country.
